Warrior Scar Jewelry
Warrior Scar Jewelry began when Holly and Christopher Gage transformed Christopher’s burn scars into a handcrafted silver pendant — shifting the narrative from injury to strength, survival, and honor. What started as a deeply personal act of healing has grown into a powerful workshop experience where burn and trauma survivors create meaningful scar-replica jewelry that tells their story with courage and pride.
Through guided artmaking and supportive conversation, participants reframe how they see their scars — not as something to hide, but as symbols of resilience and growth. Now shared through camps, support groups, and workshops, Warrior Scar Jewelry helps survivors turn lived experience into wearable testimony of hope and empowerment.
How Our Story Began
Warrior Scar Jewelry began as a healing art process that transforms personal scars into meaningful jewelry. What started as a single handcrafted pendant honoring survival grew into a trauma-informed approach that helps people reframe their scars as symbols of strength, resilience, and post-traumatic growth.
